Who we are
PennyBlack (pennyblacksolutions.com) is operated by Raging Orangutan Holdings. We are a portfolio of independent software products. This site provides honest tool recommendations for solo founders and small teams.
What we collect
Let's be real - we collect almost nothing.
We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool that we self-host on our own infrastructure. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect IP addresses, and does not track users across sites. It tells us which pages are popular and which countries visitors come from. That is all it does.
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information. There are no user accounts, no newsletter signups, and no contact forms on this site.
What we don't do
We want to be explicit about this:
- -We do not sell your data. We never have. We never will.
- -We do not use third-party trackers, pixels, or retargeting.
- -We do not serve advertisements.
- -We do not fingerprint your browser.
- -We do not share any data with anyone, because we do not have any data to share.
Affiliate links
This site contains affiliate links to SaaS tool providers. When you click one of these links, you are redirected to the tool provider's website via our redirect domain (grow.pennyblacksolutions.com). The provider may then set their own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policy.
We have no control over what third-party providers collect once you leave our site. We recommend reading their privacy policies before signing up.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies. None. Zero. See our Cookie Policy for the full details.
Your rights
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or export. If you believe we hold any data about you and would like it removed, you are welcome to contact us - but we genuinely will not have anything to find.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date below. Given that we collect almost nothing, changes are unlikely to be dramatic.
